According to a statement, AWS Robomaker extends the most rapidly used robotics software framework, Robot Operating System (ROS), by providing connectivity to AWS services like machine learning, monitoring and analytics.
The Robomaker service also gives an integrated, cloud-based environment for application development, robotics simulation, and fleet management.

Nowadays, Robots perform a various variety of roles, inspecting industrial environments, distributing inventory in warehouses, and collecting data to analyze performance.

AWS RoboMaker, currently available in the US and Ireland, is scheduled to expand to additional regions in 2019.
